I bought a Snuggli (carrier thingie that holds your baby against your chest/stomach) from a woman online for $5. It arrived yesterday. It took me some time to figure out how to put it on, but once I did, I discovered that it doesn't have a strap that goes around the waist. I thought it would have that. I guess that only comes on the other brands, or something. Well, it's hard to know whether I'll really feel the need for the waist strap until the baby arrives. I also want to get at least one sling/wrap thingie, but I can't decide between the various styles/brands.

There's so much research to do!! Every time I think I've made a decision on one thing and can put that behind me, I discover that there are whole big aspects of that thing that I haven't even considered yet. Arrggggh. Having a baby didn't used to be this complicated a couple hundred years ago. ;)
