adventures in multitasking

So here I am home with Ruthie for the day. She has napped a grand total of about 25 minutes so far. Whee! On the plus side though, she did also entertain herself for a while and I actually got a bit of work done. I have finished a Visio diagram which probably sucks, but well, it's a draft.

Right now she's playing with "eating" some pineapple. She has both cheeks stuffed with it like a squirrel, and she's dumping the rest of it on her high-chair tray, mushing it around, mixing it with leftover bits of cheese and Wheaties, etc. She is going to be very sticky. That's okay because she's also very dirty. I think I'm going to make something else to eat and then we'll be having bathtime. And then maybe a quick grocery run. Hey, and maybe I'll even get a chance to write up an explanation of this diagram! Or is that overly optimistic? ;)

Ah, Ruthie just gave me a piece of pineapple and now is running her sticky pineapple-juice-covered fingers through her hair. LOL. You should see her big round cheeks. I think she has so much pineapple in her mouth she can't even chew it. I better go rescue her from that. ;)
