Day Two Report
Feb. 22nd, 2007 07:28 pmSurvived Day Two including the fairly hellish dropoff/pickup routine that will be mine every day except Wednesday for the foreseeable future (or until I find someone to help out with it).
Brain still hurts. Am starting to learn some coworkers' names. Also starting to learn the actual work a bit. V.technical stuff, v.challenging. Brain may explode.
The office is in an "open floor plan" which means that it's just one big room with desks (tables, really) laid out in groups of 4. So, not anything much like what you might call privacy. You won't be seeing much of me on LJ during the days. This open floor plan thing will def. take some getting used to.
On account of nanny not being available Friday mornings till 10:30ish, new boss is fine with me working from home that morning and coming in at 11ish. Unfortunately, forgot to bring my work laptop home tonight, so won't be able to do that tomorrow. *headdesk*
