sunspiral and/or roozle for bringing Isaac's Red Sox hat to the weekly gathering, and thanks to ceo and gosling for being the conduit since I couldn't actually make it to said gathering. Now we have Isaac's hat back and all is well with the world. Especially since it's been raining horrendously the last two days so we haven't needed his hat. ;)
Speaking of the weather, apparently we are getting the edge (or "fallout" as one of my coworkers called it) of Hurricane Ophelia. Tomorrow it's supposed to be super-windy and rainy. Now, tomorrow we were planning to go to the WGBH Ice Cream FunFest, which is so much fun and I look forward to it every year -- but if we're going to have hurricane-force winds? Not so much. The 'GBH website says they will hold the event "rain or shine," but ... I dunno. Maybe I'll give them a call.
If they cancel it, and the weather is crappy, I don't know WHAT we'll do with ourselves all weekend. Eek.
In other news, I just got an email from one of the online survey companies telling me that I won $100 for answering a survey. Yay! :)
Isaac has been kissing me on the cheek quite a bit since I posted the other day that he finally kissed me on the chin. :) I am a happy mama. I still have to ask for kisses, but at least I get them! ;)
