Firefox HELP

Help! Firefox ate my bookmarks!

Yesterday Firefox crashed just as I was shutting it down to leave the office. Then the computer blue-screened. I was leaving so I just started it rebooting and left.

This morning I get in, finish rebooting/logging in ... and all my bookmarks are gone!! WAAAAAAH

Obviously it hasn't wiped out my entire profile (or whatever the heck they call it) because when I type in the location bar, it still tries to complete the URL for me. And it still had my cookies (i.e., I was still logged in to LJ). But my bookmarks, my precious beloved bookmarks, where are they? How can I get them back? pleeeeeeze help! *sob*

Well, I didn't get my Firefox bookmarks back, but I re-imported my Internet Exploder bookmarks and it'll have to be good enough. snif.

This morning I talked to the appraiser who was looking at my car. He said it was definitely fixable (he seemed to think I would be worried that it wasn't; I knew it was fixable, geez) and seemed to say that fixing the hood latch, which was totally rusted, would be covered by insurance since it's (obviously) a safety hazard. Of course he couldn't tell me, since that's not his job, whether I'll have to pay a deductible *sigh* so cross your fingers for me on that one, cuz I definitely ain't got an extra $500 lying around. I think my deductible is $500. I probably ought to know more about my insurance policy than I do.

Isaac and I had a better night last night, sleep-wise. It was more attitude adjustment on my part than doing anything much differently; but I did decide to wait and put him to bed a little later, when he really seemed ready, rather than pushing him to an earlier bedtime as I have been doing. I don't know if it was that, or him sensing more relaxedness on my part, or him being more tired, or a mishmash of things; but he went to sleep much more easily than he has been the last couple of weeks, which is good. He did wake up around 1am, but went back to sleep again pretty easily. And slept till 7:15!!! OMG. I was so pleased. *g* So I'm still tired, of course, but I feel almost human today. yay.

We have tickets to the Red Sox games the next two Tuesdays, and my babysitter still hasn't called me back to say whether she's available. *fret* I may end up telling my mom to find someone else to go with her next Tuesday. It's just the Devil Rays so I might skip it since two weeks in a row is a lot for me, what with all the disruption to Isaac. The following Tuesday is the Angels so I'm definitely going to that one!! I mean, unless I can't find a babysitter. *fret*
