Today is World AIDS Day. And I'm glad to say that I donated my old car to the AIDS Action Committee of Boston. I hope it helps in some small way.
Today is also an icky, dreary, rainy day. Ugh. I didn't get us out of the house till after 9 a.m. It's so hard to get oneself going when the weather is so yucky. sigh.
Today is also the third day of Isaac's transition into the toddler room at daycare. He was there for a couple of hours in the morning each of the last two days, and today he'll be there through naptime. If that goes well, he'll spend the entire day in the toddler room on Friday and be in it permanently starting Monday. He seems to be doing okay with the transition. The first two days he was fussy and clingy when I dropped him off, but this morning he was better. He's still a bit unsure about his new friends (even though four of them are kids he knew in the infant room -- but I don't know whether he remembers them). I'm sure it will be an adjustment, but so far it seems to be going pretty well. *knock wood*
