3. I am obsessed with metaquotes. It is my dream in life to be metaquoted. alas, this means I'm going to have to say something funny, so things aren't lookin' good.

4. Happy Year of the Monkey. Gawd, I hope that doesn't mean Dubya. Maybe it means the monkey in "Pirates of the Caribbean." I know it doesn't mean the Librarian, that's for sure. Phear the Librarian!

5. Speaking of books, I've finally been able to start reading again (in bed at night, instead of crosswords). I just finished the deeply bizarre Death is a Lonely Business by Ray Bradbury. You know, that book would make a great Tim Burton movie. With Johnny Depp (of course!) as the protagonist, Emma Thompson or Kathleen Turner as Constance, the guy who played Robin Wood on BTVS as Henry, maybe Kevin Spacey as the cop. Anyway, my point was, I can read again! Which means I really gotta get my hands on a copy of Paladin of Souls.

I've been playing with that topfx.com thing where you can put the words of one website onto another one, and I got some funny results putting tiggrrl's LJ into the cnn.com front page: here's a screenshot. Love the caption on the Mars Rover picture! So apropos! I also put my LJ into cnn.com and laughed when "Isaac's First Cheerio" became a link under the "Education" section. Hee!
