Don't Go There: You know you've spent waaaaaay too much time in slash-land when your child's daycare teacher says "he's been having trouble going down" and your brain goes to a naughty place. Augh!

Gotta Love Technology: This story is too delightful. Guy gets pulled over for having an expired registration on his car. In the time it takes the cop to write him a ticket, guy goes online and renews his registration. Hilarity ensues!

My Moment of Triumph: So for months now I've been telling myself, "self, you really oughta get your winter coat dry-cleaned before, like, winter starts." I even went so far as to put the coat in my car's trunk so it would be handy. The weather, as you may know, has been getting a LOT colder lately, so last Tuesday I finally motivated my ass and took the coat into a dry-cleaners' near work. The lady was like, "It'll be ready on Saturday." I was like, "shit, no way am I driving out here on a weekend, I'll have to wait till Monday to get it." So today, being Friday, I decided what the hell, it can't hurt to call. I called, and it was ready. I went and picked it up. So now I have my nice clean WARM winter coat, just in time for the first big storm of the season (which is due tonight-ish)!!! Woohoo! I rule!
