Can't trust that day

Sometimes it just turns out that way.
Although really I'm feeling pretty good today. Yesterday I was sad because it felt like the weekend had zipped by too quickly. But of course I was also happy because of all the huge piles of chocolate. ;) I didn't get enough sleep last night, which might account for my weird sense of cheerfulness this afternoon. (?)
Chickpea seems to be quite active in the mornings, when I wake up but lie in bed for a few more minutes before getting up. It makes me wonder whether perhaps he was kicking through the night and I slept through it -- though I find that pretty unlikely. At least once so far I've been woken up by kicking. He was also very active this morning after I got to work and settled down at my desk.
I think I had a dream about life with baby, but I can't remember any details. All I have is a hazy recollection of dream-me telling someone else "my baby never cries. Ever." If only. ;)
I'm listening to ASH's* not-really-new-any-more CD, "Music for Elevators." I'm liking it a lot so far. I'm dumb about terminology for modern music so I won't even attempt to say what kind of music it is, but, uh, it isn't Muzak. ;) I'm highly amused to notice in the liner notes, on the song written by Joss Whedon, "Need Publishing Information." Hee hee. Oops.

Dude, I *so* need to get caught up on "Farscape." I keep getting inadvertently spoiled by people who reasonably assume that I'll have seen the episode that aired, you know, four weeks ago. Yeesh.
Oh. And possibly the other reason I'm cheery is that my stomach woes seem to have cleared up (*knock wood*). It's nice to be able to eat normally again. Snif, beautiful food, how I missed you. ;)
