Wrong. Just, so very wrong.
Nov. 14th, 2002 03:03 pmWant to see wrong? Just have a look at this picture of Michael Jackson today.
I swear to [deity of your choice], this ... thing ... is no longer human. "He" -- I hesitate to even use that pronoun, but you gotta use something -- looks like an alien. I swear. It's just so damned wrong. He *used* to be a black man (not the best-looking black man ever, but no certainly hardship to look at). Now he's just ... what? A light-skinned, made-of-plastic, genderless alien creature. With facial hair that, honestly, looks like it was glued on to make us think he's still male.
I've said it before, but probably not here, so I'll say it again now: Michael Jackson has Issues. I don't even have to know him to know this. I just have to look at him, listen to him, read his biography for the past ten years or so. He has body-image issues, sexuality issues, self-confidence issues. Hell, he's one of the best-selling, best-known musical artists of ALL TIME, and he still obviously doesn't feel like he gets enough love. Issues.
I'm sorry to get so ranty. Maybe it seems dumb, but it just really upsets me somehow. I look at the inhuman, horror-movie mess that Michael Jackson has made of his face (not to mention his life), and it just makes me want to kidnap him and force him into therapy. Preferably with a decent therapist who won't coddle him because he's a star. And I don't even really like his music post-"Thriller." I just look at him and it's like I can see the pain coming off him in waves. It makes me sad.
Bizarre and pointless rant ends now.
