This morning I got Ruthie dressed -- standing up on the changing table, because she won't lie down for dressing/undressing any more. And, as so often happens, after we were done she put out her arms and "fell" into a hug. So I hugged her and said (as I so often do) "ooh my baby I give you a snuggle" (or whatever schmoopy crap like that ;) ) and she said, "Diss!" and puckered up!

So I offered my cheek and she gave me a kiss! This is me over here on the floor in a puddle. :D

(Just as reference, I don't think Isaac has ever spontaneously given me a kiss. Maybe once. Maybe twice. But generally it just is not his kind of thing. Ruthie is much more physically affectionate in general than he is or ever has been.)

Later Ruthie was playing with Isaac's "Thomas the Tank Engine" trains while I was doing her hair, particularly Percy ("bih-zee"), who is her favorite. And I distinctly heard her say "bih-zee, diss!" and then saw her give Percy a kiss. LOL....

Cuteness!!! Every night when Megan is giving Quinn good night smooches (in conjuntion with a particular book that they read), she kisses Q's cheek a bunch of times and then Q will announce "other side" and Megan will switch and smooch that side. I love watching this.

:) Their little cheeks are just so much fun to kiss! I do a thing where I kiss one cheek and then the other, repeatedly, going back and forth very quickly, which never fails to crack Ruthie up. Isaac always loved that one too.
